Your new company
On behalf of our Client – technologies company - in Gliwice, we are currently looking for a person to hold the position of Financial Controller.
Your new role
The Financial Controller is responsible for providing financial overview and leadership of finance organization. This position is also includes the role of business partner and is a member of the local management team. As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for support monthly, quarterly and yearly closing procedures in close collaboration with the local team (4 FTE’s) and Group Financial Controller to ensure an accurate P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting which is line with the statutory and corporate requirements. You will provide internal economic consulting in projects and monitor business cases, play an active role in preparation of budgets, forecasts and prepare management reports as well as ad-hoc analyses for the local and global management. You will manage entity level tax responsibilities with local indirect and direct tax requirements under the support from the corporate tax department and provide best in class financial and administrative processes to minimize operating costs. Your other responsibilities will include implementation of controlling procedures, tools and policies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to have at least 5 years of experience in finance & controlling, accounting or financial reporting area. The experience in one of the Big Advisory Companies is a strong plus. Experience of managing a finance & accounting team ideally with the same scope responsibilities for business partnering and financial reporting and control. Professional accounting qualification is highly appreciated. We are looking for an experienced leader with strong business orientation and analytical competencies with the ability to define priorities, problem solving competencies and high level of service orientation. Fluent English and good MS Office skills are mandatory.
