For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Solution Architect (with mainframe knowledge)
Location: 100% remote
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 12 months
Rate: 150-180 PLN/h net on B2B
Start date: ASAP Working hours: flexible, between 7:00 and 20:00
Methodology: Scrum
What will you do:
Customer focus:

• Prepares and supports the solution proposal presentation related to services, architecture and technology aspects
• Supports contract negotiations especially around all technical parts (incl. cost impact) of own area of expertise
• Analyzes customer business needs

Solution focus:

• Designs end-to-end solutions in close cooperation with technical contacts, based as much as possible on standard portfolio (service catalogue)
• Participates in the collection of Customer Specific Data in order to validate the solution accuracy, costing and assumptions
• Leads successful integral solutions and takes ownership of issue resolution
• Deep knowledge of methodologies to develop and manage requirements
• Creates and maintains and uses solution cost model with DCH specifics based on Global & Regional Standard Cost Models
• Designs and validates business cases on associated costing to the designed solution and migration
• Coordinates the input from all candidate deliveries/3rd parties and performs the deal specific vendor management 

Bid operations:

• Gets the required solution design approvals from business and delivery according to the existing processes and gets buy-in of business responsible
• Supports Solution Manager in all Solution related-activities (Rainbow preparation, customer contacts, risk analysis, hand-over to delivery, etc.) 
• Participate in Q&A-sessions and Due Diligences to improve the solution design and costing including minimizing of risks

What we expect from you:

• Profound and long-time experiences as a solution architect in the IT-outsourcing business, proposal- and project management methodology or profound knowledge of mainframe operation and willingness to takeover commercial responsibility
• Holistic knowledge of mainframe business operation and delivery processes
• Knowledge about the actual market, technology and application design trends
• Business fluent English in speaking and writing.
