Your new company
For our Client- an international, rapidly growing automotive company located in Gliwice, we are looking for the person to hold the position: Plant Controller.
Your new role
Responsibilities:
- Strategic business partner of the manufacturing team
- Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, forecasting, cost accounting, forecasting, and related analytical analysis.
- Responsible for the monthly financial closing process.
- Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting, including capital project reviews, asset capitalization and the physical inventory of fixed assets.
- Accountable for inventory management, ensuring that the plant's inventory controls are adequate, reconciling inventory balances monthly, identifying overage and aging material issues, and coordinating periodic physical inventories.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and variance analysis on costing activities.
- Performs all other functions as required; included are any work assignments relating to the efficient flow of work within the group.
What you'll need to succeed
- university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant (international) finance, budgeting or costing experience
- Ability to lead, build and sustain effective work relationship with subordinates and peers to achieve common goal.
- Ability to effectively manage and work in a multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical and planning skills, ability to build a positive and strong team spirit with staff;
- Very good knowledge of English (both written and oral).
