For our Client, an international company from HVAC industry, we are currently searching for experienced Candidate, who will join its structure at the position of Process Design Engineer (for component manufacturing) dedicated to greenfield project, new production plant which will be located in Dobromierz (area of Wałbrzych).
As Process Design Engineer you will have 2 years of onboarding, training and know-how transfer in production plant in Portugal before taking over a relevant role in the new plant end of 2025. You will support the production of manufacturing components and the industrialization of the new production concept for the new location.
Tasks during the project phase:

• Responsibility for the task definition with the module lead and for deliverables considering maturity, quality and time
• Involvement of the expert team within the business unit
• New production process studies and identification of their impact on investments and production strategy
• Design and specify production processes, equipment, and tooling to produce high-quality components in a cost-effective and efficient manner
• Performance of technical approval for production equipment / tools and implementation of corrective action
• Collaboration in D-FMEA through risk analysis of design and effects on the customer
• Realization of P-FMEA through process mapping, failure modes identification and their effects on the product and customer
• Machine supplier selection through proposals technical analysis, taking into account Project requirements (lead time, quality, investment, risk)

After start of production in the new plant

• Production monitoring to achieve OEE, identifying problems, analysing causes, defining and implementing measures
• Execution of CI activities for productive processes (quality, environment, safety and efficiency)

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Industrial Engineer with 3-5 years of professional experience
• Experience with CAD software, stamping simulation software, and statistical analysis software
• Knowledge on technical content of P-FMEA, investment planning & controlling, machine project approval with supplier, equipment final approval
• Sheet metal processing, automation and data basis communications, MES servers
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop stamping solutions that meet customer requirements and quality standards
• Structured and organized, self-driven character
• Open to relocation to Portugal for 2 years
• Fluent English
