For our client, a corporation in the banking industry, we are looking for a candidate to take on the role of Finance Operations Director.
The person who joins the company as Finance Operations Director will be very much a decision maker and will become part of the Senior Management Team. This is a role related to leading the overall financial processes within the organisation and initiating improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
- Define and supervise the implementation of the accounting policies, financial reporting principles.
- Responsibility for taxes (full scope: CIT, VAT, WHT, local) and cash management, 
- Supervision of accounting: local books & USGAAP (full local processing).
- Circulation of information for all organization units to meet the requirements arising from the company's existing regulations of tax law and accounting, the guidelines of market regulators.
- Supervise the valuation of assets and liabilities of company entities.
- Budget preparation and execution for finance and facility department.
- Business strategy development and implementation.
- Focus on bottom line and long term goals.
- Implemented profitability analysis project using activity based costing/budgeting method supporting growth strategy.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of US GAAP and Polish GAAP, IFRS, SOX
- 10 years of experience in finance industry - Previous experience in GBS/SSC
- Professional knowledge of English (C1 is a must have)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Experience in people management will be an additional asset.
