Senior Accounting Manager EMEA

Your new company
You will join leading company from the media and entertainment industry that offers a dynamic and diverse work.
Your new role
- Manage accounting tasks and processes, including preparation of statutory financial statements, monthly and quarterly US GAAP reporting, and account reconciliations
- Provide guidance on complex financial transactions and coordinate technical accounting research
- Manage a team Accountants
- Drive process improvements and automation
- Manage internal and external audits, including SOX testing and compliance processes
- Prepare/review management reports and reconciliations, and lead cross-department meetings
- Propose solutions and escalate issues as appropriate
What you'll need to succeed
- Master’s degree in accounting or finance with 8+ years of international accounting/auditing experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Experience with enterprise information systems, particularly SAP, preferred
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- High integrity team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English;
- Proficiency in German, French, or Italian is a strong advantage
- ACCA, CIMA, or PIBR qualification is a strong advantage
