Your new role
Team: Transfers Product Team
Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, GIT, Kubernetes/Docker, Microservices
Overall scope of duties & projects:
- You’ll be responsible for providing new features and maintaining existing codebase within the team.
- The product is focused on building an AWS based solution that will help automate assets movement processes between brokers.
- Project is at the early stage.
Full list of responsibilities:
- Responsible for writing high quality code adhering to agreed team and regulatory standards as well as review of others code
- Working collaboratively with the team to help deliver new features for the business
- Providing engineering support for existing applications when necessary
- Ensuring existing and newly developed solutions are reliable, secure, performant and maintainable
- Maintaining awareness of current secure coding practices and ensuring code produced is in line with these
- Responsible for developing and evidencing automated tests alongside code produced
- Responsible for documenting all solutions, produced to agreed team standards
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn technologies & techniques embraced by the development team
- Actively participating in working groups and communities of practice designed to support the development team
- Providing coaching & mentoring to peers
