Your new company
For our Client, an international, well known company located in Katowice, we are looking for the person to hold the position: VAT Expert.
Your new role
You will be responsible for following tasks:

Being a key team member responsible for preparation of VAT, ESL and Intrastat returns for one of the biggest manufacturing company in Europe with multiple VAT registrations
Coordination of VAT reporting across Europe and become a Subject Matter Expert supporting other team members in VAT compliance reporting
Working closely with internal Tax, Supply Chain and IT departments in design, implementation and testing new VAT reporting enhancements in SAP.
Supporting internal tax department in dealing with tax authorities during external tax audits.
Enhancing knowledge on reporting complex VAT transactions as well as accounting matters and principles under local GAAPs

What you'll need to succeed
To be the best Candidate for this role, you will need:

Accounting/finance/tax educational background
Very good command of English language
Previous involvement in process of preparation of VAT, ESL and Intrastat returns
Knowledge about reporting of Intra-EU and import/export transactions in line with EU VAT Directive
Good knowledge of Excel
Solid analytical and planning skills
Experience in SAP and BI SAP reporting tool will be appreciated
