We are searching for a:
General Ledger Accountant. This role is about ensuring that all reconciliations and accounting procedures are performed to Group standards, ensuring that maximum customer satisfaction is achieved and service levels are met or exceeded for all customer requirements.
More importantly you will be responsible for the following:
  • Assisting with the accounting and financial analysis for various subsidiaries within the Group (including support and rebates, inventory analysis and control, VAT, sales analysis, expense reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, adhering to SOX controls etc)
  • Reconcile and agree inter-company trading accounts and intercompany balances and correct reporting to Group
  • Carry out month end close processes for the General Ledger and posting of month end journals, ensuring accuracy of financial statements
  • Manage general Reconciliation processes 
  • Reporting and communicating month end results for the relevant subsidiary
  • Input of the monthly results into the system
  • Providing ad-hoc reports, duties and projects

What we are looking for in you:
In order to be successful in this position you need to have written and spoken fluency in English as well as advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel. You should be self-motivated, able to work independently, have strong attention to details and ability to work under pressure. Previous involvement in working in financial area would be highly beneficial together with the business/economics or finance educational background.
