For our Client, an international company we are looking for Commissioning Engineer
Key responsibilities:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be involved in the final phase of projects managed by Company. Traveling throughout the year to plant sites around the world, you will contribute to the final phase of the work, by ensuring the precommissioning and the commissioning of our units.
Mainly, our technologies are cryogenics and Lurgi technologies.
Location: based in Kraków, Poland, but mobile work to the different sites (all around the world)
Within the framework of a project and on site, you will be in charge, in compliance with company’s safety and quality rules and following the priorities and deadlines set by the commissioning manager, or the project manager, you will:

• Ensure safety at site, in collaboration with the HSE manager and the site manager,
• Supervise and/or perform the precommissioning and commissioning activities (P&ID checks, blowings, flushing, bump tests, loop checks, logic checks, inspections, start-up, tuning, performance test, …),
• Development of a consistent concept for the execution of the pre-/commissioning work on the basis of contractual documents and specifications including the latest version of the project schedule,
• Planning of the mobilisation of pre-/commissioning staff and vendor representatives in liaison with the Site Manager,
• Preparation and implementation of project specific working instructions and pre-/commissioning procedures,
• Planning, guiding and monitoring of pre-/commissioning activities with emphasis on safety, quality and schedule,
• Ensuring that the day-to-day works are in compliance with the respective procedures, standards, specifications,
• Conducting regular pre-/commissioning meetings with the team identifying problems/ deviations,
• Reporting of any particular event and/or risk identified which substantially affects HSE, process, quality, personnel, client relations, deadlines, cost and claims. for evaluation and initiation of necessary corrective measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Process, Chemistry),
• Willingness to travel (The majority of the time to our construction sites located in different parts of the world),
• Chemical and physical process understanding,
• Proactive, results-driven with a collaborative approach,
• Forward-thinking, able to provide solutions and make decisions,
• Good communication skills across all levels,
• Min. 5 years of professional experience,
• Knowledge of commissioning management tools and procedures,
• Safety Management during commissioning,
• An excellent understanding of Design Engineering, Construction and Handover.
