General Ledger Accountant (RtR)

Opis stanowiska:
For our client an international company with SSC located in Kraków, we are looking for General Ledger Accountant (RtR).
Your responsibilities:
- Journal entries preparation and posting
- Preparation of financial statements
- Perform month-end and year-end closure activities
- Reconcile intercompany balances
- Maintain General Ledger Master data
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation including cash transactions reconciliation
- Analyze P&L accounts (mainly OPEX)
- Analyze, maintain and report fixed assets
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Cooperation with internal and external auditors
- Take part in global improvement projects, take initiative to improve processes and assist with other accounting projects
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Cooperation with the local finance team and other Vesuvius departments
Our requirements
- Experience in the RTR /GL area in SSC/BPO environment
- Understanding of RTR end to end process
- Advanced English (min. B2)
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially very good MS Excel skills
- Experience in SAP or Oracle system
- Ability to gain knowledge fast, process orientation and ability to work in a team
